DJ Tchie is the artist name for Thiery Dellys. His love of music originated in the early nineties with the birth of Acid-House, New-Beat, then Trance and Techno. He began going to clubs in Belgium and spending nights in iconic venues such as Boccacio, Cherry Moon, La Rocca and Fuse, etc. where he admired the DJ’s who made thousands of people dance all night until sunrise. In January 1996, he then moved to London, where he discovered a new sound, new music and a new culture.
He began mixing with friends every weekend and started playing in London bars before gaining his first residence at Pademonium, where he appeared once a month. He then joined 7sins, managed by The Baron of MishMash, who later became his best friend. Other venues came along, such as Club 414, The Mass, The Fridge, The George IV and Imperial Garden.
For him, DJ’ing is not a job; it’s a passion, a joy, a love and a pleasure to make people dance all night long. This passion is a part of me, it’s like a tattoo on my body. Love, Peace, Techno.
Tchie is resident DJ for RPL Radio France, Fnoob Techno, Maxximixx Radio Tel- Aviv and a guest DJ for Impulse Radio. A Militia Underground resident DJ, he collaborates with Acid Dealers resident DJ for Underground Frequency and is a label manager for Planet Underground.
