This is THE test you have to take.
In a few days, a Spanish club (the Sala Apolo in Barcelona) will serve as a guinea pig to evaluate – life-size – the organization of an evening in the midst of an epidemic. Objective: To reconcile partying and the necessary protection against covid-19.
Under the direction of a team of scientists, an event will bring together more than 1000 spectators and will stage a covid-compatible and at the same time realistic evening, taking into account what the public can accept. In this case, no physical distancing measures will be set (there, the public would surely have passed by) but the wearing of masks and hand disinfection will be mandatory.
It should also be noted that on the day of the concert, the spectators will undergo an antigen test (ultra-rapid test) and that they will of course be monitored before and after the show.
This test – which will be a world first – will allow us to study possible contaminations but above all will hopefully show that by respecting a few rules, we can once again find our way to concerts, clubs, festivals, without taking any health risks.
