As we all know, the electro genre became huge during the last decade. This must be one of the reasons “Our House” an electro museum is going to open during summer 2021 in the capital of electro music: Amsterdam (the Netherlands).
With this museum, visitors will be able to know more about the music from the 80s until today. The founders of this innovative idea are ID&T the event company giant, Fourmation and the Dutch Experience Group. There was a project in 2017 to create the “Museum of Modern Electronic Music” in Frankfurt that never worked.
Jeroen Jansen, co-founder of Fourmation and former Chief Creative Officer of ID&T, explains: “Now, more than ever, we want to show the world how unique electronic music culture truly is. It’s an honour to combine its history and status quo into a compelling whole for Our House. At the same time, it’s a creative challenge to merge it into an immersive and a cross-generational experience.”
During the museum tour, you will be able to experience electro music through a lot of new technologies, such as interactive special effects. Thanks to the museum, we will be able to live or live again what we once knew as part of our lives: festivals and night clubs.
In addition, an Academy was created with workshops and masterclasses for those who wants to know past, present and future of the electro music. Finally, the owners want to plant this museum idea all over the world even though the first museum is still not open but yet to come. This is such a pioneer project that can only show us all the beauty and greatness of the electro music sphere.
