Good news, Las Vegas’ Electric Daisy Carnival will happen

Despite the pandemic and the unknown, the 2021 edition of EDC in Las Vegas will take place this year during the weekend of May 21, 22 and 23 at the Motor Speedway. Even if the festival should have initially taken place over two weekends, this news gives hope for the reopening of festivals and concerts in Europe. The health protocol is still uncertain but will be published very soon. Masks will most definitely be mandatory but PCR test may not be requested. Regarding the line up, it has still not been revealed but it should arrive very soon.

DGTL Amsterdam is a famous techno festival. From July 1^st, festivals will be able to work again thanks to the Dutch government and the financial aid they got in case they had to be canceled again. Intents Festival postponed to 2022

After the group Defqon 1, it is the turn of Intents Festival to postpone its events to 2022. It will be next year in May that we will be able to assist to an event, so if you bought tickets for the 2020 or 2021 editions, you will be able to use them for 2022. Or you could get a refund via the link or the app TicketSwap.

We already know that the American and French law are completely different. Here is an example. The government might be decided on something that each governor of each state has the possibility to follow the government’s decisions or to go its own way. This is why in Texas the Republican governor Greg Abbott decided to reopen completely the state. Thus, concerts and festivals will start again soon. And it is with great excitement that the famous Texan festival Ubbi Dubbi should be confirmed on April 24^th and 25^th, edition 2021.

Despite all of that, people are urged to understand that by buying the tickets they understand that COVID-19 is contagious, and people must assume the risk they might be taking by going to such events. Mostly because from last March 2^nd the governor announced the end of wearing masks.

Mysteryland’s 1st edition of 2021

In the Netherlands, it has been announced that festivals will be organized by the 1^st of July. The first in line being Mysteryland, the big brother of Tomorrowland.

It should be happening in a city called Haarlemmermeer in the Netherlands. If by any problem, the festival will have to be cancelled, the government will financially help of 300 million euros which is a relief for the sector. Although we are all very excited to go back to a festival and deeply wish that it won’t be cancelled.

First “COVID free” Festival in the Netherlands

Frontier Festival will be the first Festival able to happen in the Netherlands and its first edition, thanks to the approval of the Government. Although, we do not know the date or place of the Festival, the organizers fear not that it will be maintained since they have their permits.

This project is being reviewed since last summer with all the things needed for social distance: free contact payments from the app, outside scenery, spacious toilets – free and frequently cleaned, but careful, the entrance is allowed only with a negative PCR or the vaccination certificate.

As you might think, there is a “but”, the Festival will only be available for people for the region, in order to avoid traffic of person, and we couldn’t agree more. Better do a small but working event than a big not safe one.

Let’s hope this event will take place and it will be the beginning on a new era.

Tomorrowland’s positive message about 2021

While there is no news from the American Giant Ultra, Tomorrowland is delivering a message on their website about 2021 edition while recreating it.

In few words, the organizers are doing their best to organize the 2021 edition and hope that they will be able to celebrate love, unity, friendship next summer.

As for now, we do not know if the edition will take place this summer, but we hope that with the starting of vaccination, faster tests and other sanitary measures, this year edition will happen.

David Guetta’s new scene for his show

For his new show “United At Home”, David Guetta decided to make us travel to Dubai, but not to any part of it, to the top of the Burj Al Arab.

Although few options were also possible. Such as the Burj Khalifa, the highest tower in the world, 828m, built in 2008, costing millions of dollars, with 57 elevators and 8 escalators.

Of course, David Guetta could have chosen to do his show at the bottom of the tower, next to the fountains. But instead, he decided to do it on top of it, like Roger Federer and André Agassi did for their tennis game.

Few other choices in Dubai were: the Marina, with luxurious hotels and the proximity of the beach. The show lights could have had been extraordinary. Or last option but not less amazing: the desert, but now this is for sure, February 6^th he will play at 15:00 (Paris time), from the top of the Burj Al Arab.

It is in Notre Dame de Paris that Jean-Michel Jarre chose to celebrate his New Year’s Eve. If you missed this moment and have a free evening, here is the opportunity for you to listen to, ‘Welcome to the Other Side’. With the help of the City of Paris and UNESCO.

It is thanks to the French start-up called VRrOOm that the producer could play from the Studio Gabriel while his persona was in the cathedral.

This December 31^st didn’t lack of event, from David Guetta and his caritative show at Le Louvre and Jean-Michel Jarre in the Cathedral. We can’t wait to see more futuristic events as such.
